​Our Client

Our client, a leading buy-side multi-strategy hedge fund, is currently looking to hire a FX OTC Operations Analyst for its London office.

The successful candidate will be providing day-to-day operational support to the derivative trading desks on a large range of OTC derivative products. This will be to ensure trade capture and matching of cross-asset instruments.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Trade capture, lifecycle processing and reference data maintenance to ensure accurate representation of positions, P&L and exposures in the risk management systems

  • Ensure accurate legal representation of derivative trades

  • Implement and execute processes within a control infrastructure which mitigates operational risk and allows the firm to operate in a controlled environment

  • Collate and present crucial governance metrics to operations management staff regularly

  • Act as a central point of contract for all broker queries

  • Act as the SME for OTC Derivatives

  • Constantly improve and ensure the integrity of OTC Derivatives data

Your Profile

  • Educated to a degree level

  • Experience in Operations within a hedge fund, asset management firm or investment bank

  • Familiarity and work experience with FX trade affirmations, confirmations matching and legal confirmations

  • Previous exposure to platforms such as Finastra, Misys or Salerio

  • An operational knowledge of any of the following: FX NDFs, FX options, credit default swaps, interest rate swaps, commodity swaps, equity swaps

  • Familiarity with either ICELINK, Markitwire, DTCC, ICE e-confirm, MISYS, MTM or Traiana
