Our Client
Our client, a leading quantitative hedge fund, is currently looking for a Compliance Officer for their Singapore office. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Compliance team, supporting the firm's Chief Compliance Officer on several key duties.
The appointee will be providing regulatory advice to the business, administer the compliance oversight function, monitor all new regulatory updates and implement all necessary processes to meet regulatory standards.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate the administration of the firm's Compliance Monitoring Program
Monitor trading and communication surveillance alongside the firm's global surveillance team
Be the main point of contact for the business when it comes to conduct compliance
Perform compliance training to members of staff
Monitor the regulatory horizons for requirements which will impact the business
Develop, draft and maintain processes and procedures documentation
Liaison with regulators and governments
Your Profile
Between 6-8 years of compliance experience
Previous experience in administering a Compliance Monitoring Program
Experience within building relationships with key stakeholders and senior management
Experience in a quant firm, bank, brokerage, proprietary trading or asste management firm within the compliance function is beneficial for this position
Knowledge and experience with electronic trading and compliance control framework
The salary on offer for this position is market-led.
