​Our Client

Our client, a Lloyds Managing Agent, is currently seeking a Compliance and Risk Manager - Advisory for its London office. This is a really exciting opportunity to shape and build out the compliance function.

The role will be hybrid working in the London office and remote.

​

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing technical regulatory advice to the business

  • Horizon scanning

  • Advising internal business partners

  • Review and update compliance strategy, policy and the compliance plan

  • Review and update the risk management framework, strategy and policy

  • Regulatory projects

  • Compliance training

  • Board meetings and regulatory reporting

  • Reporting into C-Suite, 1 direct report

Your Profile

  • Experienced compliance professional within the insurance sector (can be Lloyds Market, GI, broker, etc.)

  • Excellent knowledge of the relevant FCA handbook rules and regulations and ability to understand and advise on any regulatory changes

  • Expert knowledge of ICOBS, GEN, SYSC, SUP, DISP

  • Strong takeholder management and ability to influence

  • Demonstrable leadership skills and a desire to train and develop others

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ideally short notice periods preferred sot that the Compliance and Risk Manager - Advisory can start as soon as possible.
