​​Our Client

Our client, a macro hedge fund, is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join their Compliance department in London on a permanent basis. The role is generalist, and the successful candidate will be undertaking monitoring in accordance with the compliance monitoring programme.

​

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring and trade surveillance across a range of asset classes, including fixed income, equities, cash and commodities

  • Core compliance responsibilities, including PA dealing, gifts and entertainment and providing compliance training

  • Regulatory submissions and maintenance of registers

  • KYC/AML and Counterparty onboarding

  • Other ad-hoc compliance responsibilities​

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree. A legal education and/or additional compliance qualifications / certifications are an advantage

  • Two years or more experience gained in a financial institution (preferably buy-side)

  • Surveillance experience

  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • A demonstrable interest in global regulation
