Our Client
Our client, a leading global investment management firm, is looking for an experienced individual to join their Investment Operations team in Hong Kong. They are looking for a technically minded and driven person to support the growth of the business and cover broad mandate across operations.
Main Duties
Monitor unconfirmed Equity and Fixed Income trades
In charge of risk management and risk and control improvements for existing processes
Monitor OTC trades and work with trading and counterparts to resolve any issues
Improve STP rates with brokers by addressing persistent issues
Trade amendments, event processing, and exposures in the risk management systems
Point of contact and expert on Equity and Bond enquiries.
Serve as the primary point of contact for firms APAC region for equity and bond confirmations
Improve and oversee practices/processes of the team and help automate end-to-end processes
Face off to internal and external clients efficiently and
Liaise with global Tech & Ops counterparts on a range of strategic initiatives, assist in testing technology rollouts and help improve processes
Collate & present key governance metrics to the business on a regular basis
To work alongside other Ops teams to provide cover/product knowledge (this will happen over time as the team becomes fully established)
Ensure all processes meet the minimum Audit and Internal Control framework
Acknowledgement of compliance and regulatory data requirements and manage the effect of this
Your Profile
At least 3 years’ experience in a trade support or operational role
Strong knowledge of Securities Confirmation and Settlement processes
Excellent problem-solving skills
