Symmetry Investments Launches Cayman Adaptive Fund

​The new fund currently has one investor, but they are looking to push for more fundraising post-launch. It is expected to follow an integrated fixed-income arbitrage and global macro strategy.

Symmetry is itself a spinoff of Izzy Englander’s $43bn Millennium Management and was launched by Feng Guo and Mike Robinson in 2014.

Macro strategies have been outperforming most other strategies this year and Asia-Pacific hedge funds particularly have been enjoying increased subscriptions due to heightened interest in Australian equity strategies.
