Our Client
Rutherford is working with a global digital technology company who are rapidly expanding their digital security function. Having already hired several key stakeholders within the function they’re now on the search for a hands-on technical Principal Platform Security Engineer to support DevOps processes and think strategically to develop and implement changes to drive automation, scalability, and continuous progress for platform security processes.
Main Duties
You will Implement and configure platform security controls and policies, manage access to data, and monitor threats to ensure that apps, containers, infrastructure, and networks are protected.
Ensure the platform capabilities & services can be easily interconnected with other partner platforms for network effect, scalability and combining individual digital services into comprehensive end-to-end patient journey offerings.
Your Profile
To be successful in this role you must have hands-on security experience in web or cloud security engineering, be familiar with common security libraries, security controls, and common security flaws. Comfortable writing in scripting languages, microservices and Docker containers while also being able to read and interpret code from other languages
This strategic role will offer the successful candidate a chance to play a big part in shaping the future of an FTSE100 firm.
Salary: circa £100,000 + hybrid working model
