Our client, one of the fastest growing FinTech firms in the market and currently entering their next phase of expansion, is looking to hire a Security Engineer to join their London office. The business is preparing for multinational growth and product diversification in the upcoming year and are putting a significant amount of investment into their SecOps function.
Main Duties:
Triaging security events and looking at alerts from various sources.
Contribute to the improvement of SIEM use cases and rules.
Look into and address any potential security concerns brought up by their users.
Identify threat intelligence from both internal and external sources and gather it for analysis.
Use threat intelligence to guide your threat hunting.
Have an impact on and promote ongoing development of our SecOps capabilities.
Create a dashboard with security metrics for SecOps.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working within SecOps and have extensive experience using of SIEM, SOAR and EDR as well as prior involvement working within cloud environments, particularly GCP and AWS. A good level of understanding of threat actors and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures utilized as well as a keen interest in Threat Intelligence and Threat Hunting is also considered to be key.
