Our Client
Our client, a global alternative asset manager with c.$300bn AUM, is looking to hire a Paralegal for its London office to support the group’s infrastructure legal team. The candidate will work closely with the wider team including the compliance & regulatory groups.
Main Duties
Responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
Provide various transaction support activities including helping liaising with internal and external counsel and team members on transaction documentation.
Liaises with the legal groups of European portfolio businesses on internal governance requirements and funding processes
Coordinate with company secretaries and portfolio companies to maintain entity lists and organisational structure.
Coordinate in the creation of new entities as required
Review initial operating agreements and coordinate with company secretaries and/or outside counsel on preparing amended and restated operating agreements
Plan and manage for entity dissolutions and wind-downs
Lead responses to know your customer requests from financial institutions
Document Management
Assist with the preparation and review of legal documents.
Your Profile
1-3 years of relevant law clerk / paralegal experience
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills
Strong organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in corporate database entry and maintenance
Proficiency in using a document management system, with knowledge of iManage a plus
