​Our Client

Our client, a leading quantitative hedge fund, is currently seeking a Compliance Officer for its London office. The successful candidate will be joining the firm's Legal and Compliance team and will report into the Europe Head of Compliance.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Advising the firm's trading teams and reviewing new product requests

  • Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and communicating their potential impact to appropriate teams

  • The active development and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures

  • Preparing and delivering Compliance training to members of staff

  • Reviewing alerts and managing regulatory inquiries

  • Spearheading compliance initiatives and ad hoc projects

Your Profile

  • 7+ years of experience in a compliance position within financial services

  • A strong understanding of European market structure

  • A good working knowledge of the following: electronic trading, trade surveillance, European financial markets rules and regulations as well as trading venue market rules and processes
