​Our Client

A boutique alternative investment fund located in the West End are looking to hire a Compliance Manager into their team. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for a range of responsibilities and act as the Deputy in the compliance team.

​

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide regulatory advice to the investment and trading teams

  • Lead on global regulatory projects and advise senior management on the impact on upcoming regulatory changes.

  • Conduct day-to-day compliance monitoring, including trade surveillance, code of ethics and conflicts of interest.

  • Support on AML/financial crime related matters

  • Deliver compliance training to the wider business and senior management.

Your Profile

  • 4 - 8 years compliance experience, ideally from a leading buy-side firm

  • Strong knowledge of FCA and EU trading rules required, preferably someone who has sat on or worked closely with a trading desk

  • The ability to work closely with other departments including investment staff, operations, accounting and marketing

  • Ability to work and excel in a high intensity environment
