Our client is a multinational leading HFT firm with a primary focus in the crypto markets, are seeking a Compliance Associate, to join their team in New York. The firm specialize in quantitative and algorithmic trading strategies as well as investment advisory.
Role Summary
The Associate role sits in the Legal & Compliance department, supporting lawyers and other Compliance professionals and maintaining updates to broker-dealer registrations and related regulatory compliance filings. As a junior-level position, this is a valuable opportunity to jumpstart a career within the algorithmic trading marketplace.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Assist lawyers and compliance team on electronic trades across various asset classes.
Develop working knowledge of broker-dealer compliance.
Regulatory filing projects, ad-hoc projects, and other related admin tasks.
Your Profile
2+ years of relevant experience in trade compliance.
Good understanding of core regulations.
Background at a broker dealer, law firm, or other relevant FS institution.
Self-starter, initiative-taker, strong work ethic.
