​Our Client

Our client, a leading private equity firm, is currently seeking a Compliance Advisory Officer based in their London office.

The successful candidate will be joining a small compliance team, reporting into the CCO and be responsible of a broad range of compliance matters.

​

Main Duties

​Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead on the regulatory due diligence process comprising AML and financial crime risks associated with transactions.

  • Lead and support on KYC checks, as well as responding to requests.

  • Design and implement new policies and procedures around financial crime

  • Advise and train wider staff on Financial Crime, particularly AML, KYC and due diligence.

  • Support with maintaining compliance manuals, policies and procedures, and updating based on upcoming regulatory developments.

  • Assist the wider team with regulatory compliance responsibilities, including code of ethics.

Your Profile

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a broad compliance position.

  • Previous experience working in a compliance function, preferably within a Private Equity or Asset Management firm.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of UK and EMEA regulations.

  • Experience within AML & KYC checks preferred.
