Our client is expanding their Projects/Energy and Infrastructure practice in New York. They boast a large and highly reputable New York presence, with formidable Projects teams.

Role Overview

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Direct client interaction, providing insightful advice with integrity, supported by your team

  • Industry-leading training and Partner contact

  • Lead drafting of complex transaction documentation and negotiate terms for clients

  • Manage day-to-day aspects of complex transactions

  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys

  • Excel in client communication to understand and meet their needs

  • Contribute to creating a positive work environment in line with our firm's vision

  • The culture is high performing but also reasonable on expectations compared to peer firms

  • Client has a track record of retaining and making up associates

Your Profile

  • 3+ years of experience in projects/project finance/infrastructure, either in private practice or in-house

  • Admission to the New York Bar

  • Strong drafting skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical abilities

  • Ambitious, entrepreneurial Projects lawyer to bolster their busy practice.

Basic salary banding for this role is $250,000 - $370,000

​
