Our Client
Our client, a rapidly-growing property technology firm, is currently looking for a Security Engineer. This role is fully remote, meaning it can be based anywhere in Europe.
The firm has a vast number of Engineers based across Europe (UK, Italy, Poland, Romania and many more). They are now looking to hire another experienced and detail-oriented Security Engineer, who will be joining the firm's engineering team. The role's core purpose will be to monitor site security, design new architectures and maintain existing infrastructure in order to ensure security controls are met. The successful candidate will also be working closely with the business' DevOps team.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring the effective configuration and deployment of endpoint detectino and response platform
Managing and monitoring content filtering platform
Threat hunting for Mitre Attack techniques
Working with the firm's IT team to ensure the secure configuration of endpoint devices and IT systems
Documenting and updating any procedure regarding the security, the data-flow, and the risk management of the infrastructure
Reacting to security incidents by being a first responder and thoroughly document from start to finish in order to reduce the risk of similar incidents
Your Profile
Educated to a degree level, in computer sciences, engineering or other computational field
At least one recognised qualificaiton (SANS, Security+, ISC2, CEH or MSc)
Knowledge of endpoint detection and response tooling, packet capture and network controls (include web filtering techniques) and of security information event management
A solid understanding of defence in depth principle
Previous experience with Windows, Mac and Linux Operating Systems
