Our client, a technology firm who has just completed a Series D funding round, is currently seeking a Security Engineer for its London office. The company is a data intensive organisation with a sophisticated platform helping the banking and insurance sector. The successful candidate will be joining the firm's Information Security function and will focus on applications and cloud environments. In conjunction with the Cyber Security Manager, you will play a vital role in implementing controls and processes related to the protection of data.
Main Duties
You will respond to cyber incidents as they occur. You will make decisions every day regarding the security of the multi-cloud environment, put rules in place for cloud security scans and reviews, carry out troubleshooting tasks using a variety of tools to evaluate cloud compliance, and find vulnerabilities.
This role will give you the opportunity to help shape the direction of the cyber security function ensuring best practice across their estate. everything we do. You must have a Strong understanding of information security and the threat landscape to enterprise systems. An in-depth understanding of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technologies. Proficiency in Python for automation and analysis. Strong knowledge of information security, the threat landscape for enterprise systems, cloud environments (ideally GCP & Azure), operating systems, and internet security capabilities (Zscaler)
Salary for this position: £75,000 + hybrid working model
