Our client is a leading global hedge fund with an outstanding track record and an ambitious growth agenda. As the firm enters a pivotal new chapter, they are looking for a talented employment specialist to take on a high-impact, newly created role as Lead Employment Counsel.

Operating across EMEA, the US, and APAC, you will own the firm's employment legal strategy on a global scale — advising senior management on complex, cross-border matters and helping shape the people agenda at one of the world's most sophisticated investment businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Trusted employment counsel to portfolio managers, traders and senior leadership across a global investment platform

• Architect and negotiate bespoke arrangements for portfolio managers and senior hires, including complex remuneration, garden leave and restrictive covenant structures

• Manage investigations, disputes, and employment litigation

• Oversee external counsel and mitigate employment risk across jurisdictions (EMEA, US & APAC)

Requirements

• 2 - 6+ PQE, ideally E&W qualified

• Private practice or in-house financial services experience preferred
