Our Client
Our client, a leading UK asset management firm, is currently seeking an Operational Risk Manager to join its London office. Reporting into the Head of Risk Framework, the successful candidate will be in charge of developing the firm's Risk and Compliance Reporting framework.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Spearheading risk and compliance reporting activity
Managing and developing the strategic direction based on Board and Committee reports and implementing processes to deliver against key points and requirements
Monitoring and coordinating the resolution of Board-assigned actions with the input of other risk stakeholders
Putting in place processes which will oversee the delivery of accurate risk and compliance data
Owning and managing the firm's GRC systems
Your Profile
Educated to a degree level
Professional qualifications are desirable for this position
Previous work experience in financial services, preferably within asset management
Also desirable for this position: second line function experience
SQL skills
Previous experience in implementing an enterprise risk framework's components
Stakeholder management experience
Experience in writing reports for senior stakeholders and boards
Ability to provide second-line risk input and challenge
