Non-Contentious Construction Associate / Senior Associate

A respected London-based law firm is seeking an Associate Solicitor to join its 'ranked' non-contentious construction practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team with a strong flow of premium transactional work and a loyal client base across the property and investment markets.
The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of construction and development matters, working alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers on complex, high-value projects from inception through to completion. The practice supports clients through the full lifecycle of developments, including structuring, procurement, delivery, leasing, refinancing and disposal.
Typical Work Includes:
Drafting and negotiating standard form and bespoke building contracts
Professional appointments, warranties and third-party rights
Development agreements and procurement strategies
Construction support on acquisitions, disposals and finance transactions
Risk management advice relating to delay, defects and completion issues
Asset management, refurbishment and redevelopment projects
Coordinating with consultants, surveyors and technical stakeholders
The team acts for a broad range of sophisticated clients including developers and investors, family offices and private capital, funds as well as contractors and consultants.
This role offers hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office and the firm has received much acclaim for its sustainable work life balance, mentoring and its office culture.
Suitable candidates are likely to be:
England & Wales qualified solicitors
Experienced in non-contentious construction matters
Commercially minded with strong drafting skills
Confident dealing directly with clients and counterparties
Interested in development-led and investment-backed projects
