Our Client
Our client, a renowned multi-strategy asset manager with c. $40bn in AuM, is currently looking for a Compliance Officer for its London office. The successful appointee will be joining the Compliance department, which manages the daily compliance obligations of the European business and supports the Global Compliance Program.
This role presents a fantastic opportunity to join a global and well-established firm in a generalist compliance role.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Provide compliance advice to the business when it comes to regulatory and policy issues
Spearhead trade-based monitoring and provide advice regarding allocations, best executions and other matters in relation to regulatory trade
Provide assistance on regulatory reporting
Support the Compliance team with Control Room requirements
Draft and update internal policies - all in line with regulatory updates
Monitoring of Code of Ethics as well as gifts and entertainment records
Provide general support to the Global Compliance Program
Your Profile
5+ years of experience in compliance, preferably within a renowned investment bank or a hedge fund
Strong track record with European markets. Experience with Asian markets would also be an advantage
Sound monitoring experience
Technical expertise with Excel and Bloomberg also an advantage
