Our Client
Our client, a leading UK hedge fund, is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join its London based team. The role includes providing oversight and guidance on the Firm's compliance with applicable rules, regulations and internal policies and procedures including working with other areas of the firm to devise and maintain appropriate systems and controls.
Key Duties
Perform required compliance functions in coordination with and under the direction of the Global Head of Compliance
Identify, analyse, implement and monitor regulatory initiatives relevant to the internal and external fund of funds arm of the business.
Assist with, or represent, Compliance at due diligence meetings.
Ensure that appropriate advice, assistance and training is given to the employees of the firm.
Liaise with global compliance and legal teams.
Development and execution of the compliance monitoring programme (CMP)
Oversight and representation of Compliance for new product launches.
Assistance with due diligence review of service providers, policies and procedures, resolution of compliance related matters.
Assist with required regulatory filings and updates.
Assist with regulatory examinations by or requests from various regulators.
Your Profile
Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject such as Legal
Background and understanding of the asset management industry would be beneficial.
Exposure working in a regulated environment.
A focused, proactive, goal-orientated team member.
Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
