Our Client
Our client is a specialist global fund administrator that specialises in Private Wealth and Pensions. They are currently seeking a Compliance Director to join their offices based in Jersey, United Kingdom.
The Role
Reporting to the firm’s board, the Compliance Director will be overseeing all core compliance components of the business. Duties will include but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain a good compliance culture
Act as MLRO, Money Compliance Reporting Officer and Compliance Officer as required
Provide advice on the compliance implications of proposed new services
Assist the board in managing compliance by providing assistance with the preparation of AML Business Risk Assessment, Compliance Monitoring Plan, etc.
Oversee the CMP and provide feedback to the board
Keep compliance registers up to date
Assist the firm’s board with the management of all Jersey policies and procedures
Identify new relevant regulations and create policies and procedures as required
Manage the Compliance team and provide guidance and training to enable them to progress within the compliance function
Your Profile
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for financial services firms
Great attention to detail
Past experience in corporate or fund beneficial, though not required
Previous senior management experience in risk and compliance
