​Our Client

Our client, a ​leading Private Equity firm, are seeking a Marketing and Distribution Compliance AVP to join their London office.

The role will sit in the Legal and Compliance team.

​

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Review marketing materials, communications and other fundraising related documentation across numerous strategies from a regulatory and compliance perspective.

  • Advise on marketing and distribution fund related matters.

  • Maintain and execute internal policies and procedures

  • Advise on regulatory guidance as it pertains to marketing.

  • Administer training for members of the business as well as new joiners in regard to marketing regulations within the EMEA region.

  • Provide jurisdictional guidance and advice covering other European marketing jurisdictions.

  • Assist in conducting research to determine regulatory risk.

  • Assist with other day-to-day ad-hoc project related work covering legal and compliance.

Your Profile

  • 4-7 years’ experience gained within a relevant industry.

  • Prior experience in a relevant marketing/distribution compliance role.

  • Firm knowledge of AIFMD and other European marketing regulations is desirable .

  • Prior experience within investment funds pertaining to real estate would be advantageous
