Our client, a technology-focused global investment firm, is urgently looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join its London team. In this hands-on technical role, the successful candidate will be joining the platform engineering team and focus on public cloud projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a Tier 1 firm which implements the latest technology and works more like a leading technology environment.
Main Duties
On a daily basis, the Cloud Security Engineer will concentrate on maintaining the company's global network, security policy, infrastructure, and operating systems while contributing to the design and implementation of these systems. There will be a primary focus on the public cloud, including the integration of cloud with on-premises systems, while working on systems to automate the management of the public cloud infrastructure, giving advice to peer teams and developers on best practices, and interpreting data to improve the firm's systems.
Your Profile
Worked in an agile environment and motivated by technology
A degree in computer science or another technical discipline
Possess extensive knowledge of modern cloud environment (GCP/AWS/Azure)
Ability to code in Python or Go
Track record in designing and maintaining mid-size cloud deployments
Salary: circa £150,000 + bonus
