​Our Client

Rutherford has been mandated by a global hedge fund on an excellent opportunity, for a Senior Compliance Manager to join their London office, reporting to the firm’s Director of Compliance.

​

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • To develop and execute the firm’s compliance program to deliver thematic reviews and spearhead regulatory projects.

  • Facilitating trade monitoring and surveillance, trade and transaction reporting

  • Conduct gap analysis and annual compliance reviews

  • Assist with performing regulatory horizon scanning

  • Day to day compliance activities including onboarding, compliance trainings and Personal Account Dealing reviews

Your Profile

  • Experience with trade and non-trade related compliance matters

  • Strong understanding of different types of financial instruments (equities, macro and credit)

  • Knowledge of insider dealing rules and regulations

  • The ability to work closely with other departments including investment staff, operations, accounting and marketing

  • Ability to work and excel in a high intensity environment

  • Strong knowledge of FCA and EU trading rules required, preferably someone who has sat on or worked closely with a trading desk

Education & Training

  • 7-10+ years of Compliance experience

  • 3 year Bachelor’s degree
