Rutherford is currently looking for several DevSecOps Engineers for a leading technology firm. Headquartered in London with offices globally, the company has huge growth plans and recently secured a new round of funding to expand their offering.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive and maintain the use of API security, container security and cloud security, whilst optimising the use of automation

  • React to security incidents by being a first responder

  • Ensure DevSecOps practices are used throughout the business

  • Implement preventative mechanisms to identify and reduce security risks

  • Ensure the protection of all platforms, application, and infrastructure asset

Your Profile

  • Previous experience as a Security Engineer

  • Knowledge of RESTful API security

  • Proven hands-on experience in Linux, Git, Docker and Kubernetes

  • Working knowledge of Jenkins or an equivalent CI/CD tool

  • Experience developing Python

  • Excellent knowledge of networking protocols

  • Advanced knowledge of the AWS ecosystem, with regards to security
