Our Client
Our client, a macro hedge fund, is seeking a Compliance Officer to join their Compliance department in London on a permanent basis. The role is generalist, and the successful candidate will be undertaking monitoring in accordance with the compliance monitoring programme.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Monitoring and trade surveillance across a range of asset classes, including fixed income, equities, cash and commodities
Core compliance responsibilities, including PA dealing, gifts and entertainment and providing compliance training
Regulatory submissions and maintenance of registers
KYC/AML and Counterparty onboarding
Other ad-hoc compliance responsibilities
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree. A legal education and/or additional compliance qualifications / certifications are an advantage
Previous experience in a generalist position or compliance experience
Surveillance experience
Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
A demonstrable interest in global regulation
